Industry Days provides a legal, yet dynamic environment for information flow from the command to senior leaders in commercial, research, and academic sectors.  Industry and research conduits gain by gathering a first-hand understanding of AMC’s priorities and mission direction in the near, mid, and long terms.  AMC gains from products better suited to the command’s requirements, at lower costs, and within desired timeframes.

By sharing AMC’s vision with industry and research center leaders and representatives, the Industry Days team hopes to give attendees the opportunity to match their strategies with the command’s strategic mission view.  Our ultimate goals are effective products, at affordable costs, ready to perform the mission when we need them to support the national military strategy.

Briefing sessions are the primary medium for this forum, with two senior leader panels.  Meeting location is the Global Reach Planning Center (GRPC), building 1907, Scott AFB IL.

Industry, academia, research lab, and non-Scott AFB government personnel who wish to participate in the conference must submit a registration form no later than 11:59 pm CST on June 19, 2009.  Due to conference facility space limitations, attendance is limited to the first 150 registrants.  To register, fill out the attached registration form and fax it to (618) 256-4017; or email to AMCIndustryDays.org@scott.af.mil.

A per-person conference fee of $55.00 will be due at check-in, payable by cash or check.  The conference fee includes conference charges, continental breakfasts on both days, lunch on June 30, and a No-host Social on June 30.  Government attendees must annotate on their orders that meals are included for the two breakfasts and one lunch.  Check-in will take place from 7:00-8:00 am on both days.
